The lastest annual report from BC Vital Statistics says life expectancy climbed to 82 years and is the highest for any province in Canada. The report also states that Cancer is the top cause of death in BC and deaths due to HIV fell.
Total number of deaths rose to just under 32,000 while the population grew by just over 12,000 people.
