Aisha Naveed

Lawyer

Aisha received her law degree from Brunel University in Uxbridge, England, and then spent some time in the UK as a legal assistant before coming to Canada.

Prior to practicing as a lawyer, Aisha worked in several HR roles, including: Volunteer Coordinator for Interval Home in Lloydminster, Alberta, a place providing shelter and crisis management for at-risk women and their families. From there, she moved to North Vancouver, where she worked as a Recruiter for Northshore Insulations for a few years.

Aisha’s main area of practice is in family law. She has successfully represented clients in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. Aisha cares about her clients and understands that they need the best representation to navigate sensitive issues such as separation, divorce, child and spousal support, division of assets and parenting time. She has experience with the emotional issues that arise during family law cases and is well equipped with assisting clients through the complex legal system.  She also practices in the areas of wills and estates, probate and employment law.

A strong believer in giving back, Aisha is also a dedicated volunteer. She is an active volunteer with the Access Pro Bono Society of British Columbia , works with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women’s Association as an outreach and volunteer coordinator for a youth group and is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association, currently serving as member at large for the women lawyers forum and executive law and policy liaison for the Fraser Valley family law section.

Aisha recently wrote an article that was published by the Canadian Bar Association of BC in the December, 2023 edition of BarTalk entitled The Glass Ceiling and the Unique Challenges That Women Face.

Aisha is fluent in both Hindi and Urdu.
